Example hikes for hiking+biking package

The hikes below are examples of what you can expect during our hiking+biking package. Depending on the group, weather and other unforeseen circumstances, they may be adapted.

Hike 1

Hike through the beautiful natural park directly adjacent to our Villa
- Duration: approx. 2 hours
- Profile: one climb at the start, short cobbled path, otherwise good paths

Hike 2

Morning: hike to and through the beautiful gorge near Vega de Rio Palmas.
In the gorge a small chapel is waiting for you as surprise
- Duration: 1 – 1 ¼ uur
- Profilel: little height difference
Lunch in the picturesque town of Betancuria in a restaurant with a beautiful plant garden.
Afternoon: walk from Betancuria through the central mountain landscape to Vega de Rio Palmas.
- Duration: 2 – 2 ½ hours
- Profile: 250 m climbing, 350 m descending

Hike 3

Morning, visit to artisan market in Lajares.
Lunch in Lajares, at the little restaurant with the best coffee on the whole island.
Afternoon: circular walk to the Calderon Hondo, a volcanic crater where you can walk to the top of the rim.
- Duration: approx. 1:45 hours
- Profile: false flat uphill, very short steep climb, false flat downhill
On the way back, we make another stop at the famous white dunes of Correlajo

Hike 4

Morning: walk from Morro Jable to Cofete, all the way in the south. We walk over the mountain range. Here you enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the island.
- Duration: ca. 2 hours
- Profile: 325 m climbing, 325 m descending
Lunch in the small, remote village dorpje Cofete
Enjoy the view of the mountains you have just crossed
Afternoon: we hike back from Cofete to Morro Jable
- Duration: ca. 2 hours
- Profile: 325 m climbing, 325 m descending
