B&B Villa Vital Fuerteventura:
Optimal relaxation in peace and quiet
Smoke free
Villa Vital is entirely smoke-free, including the outside areas. This way, we make sure that all our guests can fully enjoy their breakfast and (optional) dinner, and their poolside chill-outs.
Adults only
In order to allow our guests to relax completely and enjoy the peace and quiet of our fenced compound, we decided to welcome adults only.
Bringing pets is not allowed. You will meet our own cat, Tiger, though. He is a calm, elderly and slightly overweight tomcat. He sleeps a lot, but likes a bit of attention every now and then 🙂
Pool
At the centre of our garden is a swimming pool. This is heated by solar panels.
You are welcome to use our comfortable sunbeds at the poolside. A pergola offers a welcome patch of shade. Obviously, the use of sunbeds and bath towels is ‘de la casa’*.
Close to the garden you will find our communal area. Feel free to go in and get your complimentary coffee, tea, water and fruit anytime during the day. We also serve soft drinks, beer and wine at a reasonable price.

Thanks to Fuerteventura’s pleasant climate (3,000 hours of sunlight per year!), people spend most of their time outside. So will our guests. This is why we created lots of quiet spots for you to relax in our big garden (more than 1,500 m2). And this is also why we’ve got a roof terrace where you can enjoy a nice drink
Comfortable guest rooms
Villa Vital has 5 modern guest rooms with wonderfully comfortable single beds:
The single beds (in the double and triple rooms) can be left separate or put close together.
All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, a basin and a toilet. Towels, wash cloths, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel are provided.
The triple room has a separate entrance from outside and an extra-large bathroom with two basins.

WIFI / TV
There is free WiFi in all the rooms as well as outside at the terrace and the poolside.
We made a conscious decision to not install TVs in the guest rooms. Our guests spend most of their day outside, enjoying Fuerteventura’s lovely climate. Free WiFi enables them to stay up to date on news and sports.

Cleaning & laundry
The guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned twice a week.
If you stay longer than 3 days, you can use the washing machine, free of charge.
Extensive breakfast buffet
You will start your day with a delicious varied breakfast buffet at the poolside, enjoying the view of the adjacent nature reserve featuring a volcano crater.
Complimentary coffee, tea, water and fruit will be freely available to you throughout the rest of the day.
To make sure you will enjoy your stay with us to the max, the entire compound (including the exterior) is smoke-free. Also, we welcome adults only, so peace and quiet are guaranteed.
You will find everything you need in the bathrooms: towels, wash cloths (a unique and very handy Dutch invention!), hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel. There are comfortable sun beds and bath towels at the poolside.
Possibilities for evening meal
If desired, you can enjoy your evening meal at Villa Vital a few times a week. We are very happy to prepare a meal salad + delicious dessert for you. We use biological & local ingredients, as much as possible. Would you have any diet wishes, needless to say that we will fulfil these as much as possible.
A 15 – 20 minute walk (5 minute car ride) takes you from Villa Vital to two typical Spanish, very affordable restaurants. Both of them have an English menu.
If you have a (rental) car or bike, the city of Antigua is within reach. There, at only 6 km from Villa Vital, you can find multiple restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket.
Of course, we recommend you to enjoy all the beauty of Fuerteventura and have lunch and/or dinner in one of the many typical Spanish restaurants.

Important to know!
The kitchen is not for general use.
It is not allowed to bring / prepare your own meals or to consume food / drink you have brought with you (unless confirmed by us in advance).
Good hygiene is important to keep out vermin (e.g. cockroaches). Therefore it is not allowed to keep food in the room.
Beautiful hiking & biking routes available
We have several beautiful (race) bikling routes ready for you, both easy ones (25 km, 200 metres altitude) and more challenging ones (100 km) with more than 1000 metres altitude. The routes are as much as possible over quiet roads with beautiful views.
Bring your own bike or (easier) rent one through us.
Besides biking, hiking is one of our great hobbies. Therefore, we have prepared several beautiful, quiet hiking routes for you. Some hikes start (near) the villa, for others you first have to drive a little bit (by car). All routes are characterized by beautiful views over the unique landscape of Fuerteventura and few or no other hikers.
We have routes from about one hour to about 4 hours, varying from almost flat to about 700 altitude metres.
Communal lounge & veranda
Villa Vital has a communal, atmospheric lounge / veranda.
The adjacent communal kitchen is where we prepare your extensive breakfast buffet in the morning. Take your breakfast outside and have it at the poolside or elsewhere on the terrace. In the unlikely event of the weather not being so nice, our spacious veranda is the place to be!
Complimentary coffee, tea, water and fruit are available in the kitchen all day long. You can also get yourself a soft drink, a beer or a wine. Please note that these are not free of charge.
Guests cannot use the kitchen to prepare meals themselves.

Big multifunctional room (meetings, creative / training / coaching sessions)
Situated on the roof of Villa Vital is a big multi-functional room (8 x 5 metres) offering a beautiful view of the nearby nature reserve. This room is ideal for workshops with selected audiences consisting of, for instance, trainers, coaches or other self-employed people. Also, it can be used for various types of activities, such as (flamenco) dancing, painting, drawing, singing, writing, just to mention a few examples.
A flip-over, a projection screen and a beamer are available upon request.
We can also use this room for our morning wake-up sessions and our yoga practice, should the weather require it.

Parking
If you have your own (hired) car, you can park it at our fully-fenced compound. Two parking spots are available. Other cars can be parked just outside the gate.
(Racing) bikes can be parked safely in a locked indoor space.
Transfer from / to the airport
You don’t have your own transport from / to the airport? No problem at all. For a small fee we will pick you up and / or bring you back. This ride takes approx. 25 minutes.
Other transport
Don’t have a car and want to visit a market or go for a walk further away? For a fixed fee per kilometre we will take you and / or pick you up. Feel free to ask about the possibilities.
(This service depends on the other occupation of our villa and is therefore not always available).
Relaxation
A variety of books and magazines are available to our guests in the central hall: novels, travel books, weeklies, monthlies, etc. There are various board games as well. Feel free to choose any.
We’ve also got a shuffleboard and, for the musicians among our guests, a guitar. Will you play for us?
Sustainable stays
Villa Vital does its utmost to use renewable energy sources as much as possible. For example, the swimming pool is heated by means of solar heat, 70-80% of the energy consumed comes from solar panels and also the hot water is heated by means of solar energy.
The 10 solar panels generally provide more than enough power, thanks to the exuberant sunshine.
Massage
Do you need a wonderful massage during your stay? No problem at all. Leopoldo, who lives in the neighbouring town and speaks good English, is a very experienced, professional & friendly masseur and is available on call. He can serve you with one of the following three types of massage:
Sauna
Villa Vital has its own sauna. This is suitable for max. 3 persons at the same time. The sauna is heated by an electric heater and is very easy to use. Right next to the sauna there is the possibility to take a cold shower, this is discreetly arranged.
During your stay you can use the sauna at set times. There is a small charge for its use, including a bathrobe.
