Cycling is becoming increasingly popular on Fuerteventura. Road bikes, mountain bikes and (with the rise of the electric bike / e-bike) touring bikes. Fortunately, more and more tourists discover that there’s a lot more to see & do on Fuerteventura than just lie on the beach.

Volcano Fuerteventura bike hire is one of the biggest bike rent companies on Fuerteventura, with 4 stations. Volcano Bike rents out all types of bicycles, including road bikes. They have 3 types of road bikes, from the ‘regular’ road bike (and therefore attractively priced) to the professional (and therefore more expensive).
The staff speaks good English and also German.

“Fuerteventura Bike Hire Shop” is a well-equipped shop in Gran Tarajal. Rents racing bikes as well as mountain bikes. It is also a good place to buy bike materials / parts / etc. and to have your bike repaired. The owner, Rubén, is very friendly and speaks (some) English.

Villa Vital Fuerteventura is situated very central, so from here you can discover the biggest part of the island by bike. Owners Pascal & Sabine are avid cyclists (and walkers) and are happy to inform you about the most beautiful routes. You can explore them on your own (if you book the Bed & Breakfast) or under Pascal’s guidance (via the Arrangements).
