House rules Villa Vital Fuerteventura (VVF)
Good to know …
Holidays mean ‘freedom and happiness’ … doing as much as you want and as few rules as possible. That is also our approach.
If you book a stay with us, be it on the basis of Bed & Breakfast or by means of a ‘Package’, then a number of (what we call) ‘House Rules’ apply. This will make your stay with us, and that of other guests, as pleasant as possible.
Terrain
1. Villa Vital is completely non-smoking, also outside in the garden and around the pool.
Swimming pool
2. The swimming pool is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except for dinner.
3. The pool is cleaned in the morning between 10:00 – 11:00 hrs. During Packages the time depends on the programme.
Food / drink
4. Coffee, tea, water and fruit are available all day for free.
5. Drinks other than those mentioned under point 4, please tick your own room number on the list on the fridge. These will be paid for on the last day, preferably in cash or on the spot.
6. Breakfast is possible from 8:00 a.m. and until 10 a.m. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare it as fresh as possible.
7. For B&B guests: Would you like to enjoy an evening meal with us in the evening? If so, please let us know one evening in advance in connection with purchasing. We serve a meal salad + dessert. The starting time is 18:30 h (summer) or 18:00 h (winter). This is only possible ‘a few days’ a week.
8. The kitchen is not for general use. It is not allowed to bring / prepare meals yourself, nor to consume the drinks you brought with you (unless confirmed by us in advance).
9. Good hygiene is important to keep vermin (e.g. cockroaches) out of the door. Therefore it is not allowed to keep food in the room.
Water / electricity
10. You stay on an island, water and electricity are less ‘self-evident’ than in Western Europe. 99.9% of the time everything works fine, but it may be that there is no supply of water or electricity ‘for a while’.
11. Water is purified from seawater and is supplied via the street. Because there is very occasionally no supply, we have 2 500-litre storage tanks on the roof. So please be economical with water, so that there is enough for everyone if the supply is lost for a long time.
12. Water is heated by 4 solar panels. If it is cloudy for a few days, the water temperature can be a bit lower. So please be economical with hot water.
WIFI
13. WIFI is available in our Villa and outside by the pool. Again, we are on an island, without for example fiberglass. Via a disk on the roof our WIFI comes of a transmitter mast high on a mountain top. So it may happen that the WIFI is out. This is beyond our control.
Miscellaneous
14. In the morning until 8:00 a.m. and in the evening from 10:00 p.m. we ask our guests to be as quiet as possible, both inside and outside. Other guests also want to enjoy their sleep, before or after an active or non-active day.
15. The books in the bookcase in the common room are at your disposal, as well as the games. Please put them back neatly for others after use.
