Although there is little water to be found on Fuerteventura itself, it is of course surrounded by water, the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re a water lover, Fuerteventura is the place to be. You can choose from swimming, surfing, board surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling, diving, dolphin spotting on a catamaran and enjoying yourself in a large water theme park with all the trimmings. There is something for everyone.
Wonderful above-water world
Do you like to be active on the water? Fuerteventura is a paradise for water lovers. Not only because of the lovely climate all year round, but also because of the (always) present wind and beautiful surf waves on specific coasts. This makes the island the perfect place to be active on the azure blue sea with pearly white beaches. Not for nothing are there world championships surfing here every year in July!
Do you want to (learn to) go supping in a quiet but beautiful beach bay? Or (learn to) surf in tempting waves? There are plenty of places where you can do this, also in our neighbourhood, at a 20 minute drive.
Do you like more of a challenge and are you a real fan of kite surfing? In Fuertventura, you’ll be able to indulge in your favourite sport.
Splendid underwater world
Would you rather go on a voyage of discovery under water? There is also plenty to see and do in the ocean around the island: whales, dolphins, merlins and turtles are regularly spotted. Something that attracts many snorkellers and divers. At a short distance from our villa you can snorkel and (learn) to dive.
Do you like it a bit quieter and calmer, but you still want to enjoy the underwater world? That is possible too, with an excursion on a boat with a glass bottom.
Enjoyment at sea
